Bharath gave the same update as previously,
Peter has been mainly reviewing GSoC applications as well.
Aryan has been working on some fixes to documentation.
Stanley has been working on setting up Ray with DeepChem. Stanley has also been working with the DeepChem bioinformatics group on protein transformers.
Abhishek has mostly been reviewing GSoC applications.

DeepChem Bioinformatics Call
Date: April 25st, 2022
Attendees: Bharath, Paulina, Stanley
Summary:
Bharath has been working on the huggingface/deepchem bridge.
Paulina reached out to the Kipoi developers and heard back about the status of the project.
Stanley has been chatting with David about protein transformers.
We had a discussion about the potential for genomic transformers and where we see potential biological applications. Read about Big Bird for reference. https://arxiv.org/abs/2007.14062
Paulina and Stanley said they would start gathering some resources on the deepbio issues and other tools that could be used.
