Summary:

Bharath this week has reviewed a few PRs and has done some work to organize the release.

Arun has been working to fix the mypy errors and has been working on making changes to the CI.

Bharath and Arun reviewed https://github.com/deepchem/deepchem/pull/2715 and https://github.com/deepchem/deepchem/pull/2719 and merged in #2719. Bharath also merged in https://github.com/deepchem/deepchem/pull/2713. Bharath and Arun reviewed a number of open issues and closed those that were resolved.

Summary:

Bharath gave the same update as in his previous call.

Peter has mostly been working on OpenMM but has been monitoring and reviewing some PRs.

Peter asked if the latest TensorFlow fixed the numpy 1.20 issues. Bharath said he checked but it looks like the latest TensorFlow is still on 1.19. Bharath and Peter discussed whether TensorFlow development was slowing down and whether we should consider moving to PyTorch more quickly than previously hoped.
